Risk Advisory is delighted to invite you to our upcoming breakfast briefing on 9 November.

Ethiopia – Sub-Saharan Africa’s second largest market with nearly 100 million people has been changing at breath-taking speed. It has managed to do so without significant natural resources, but through state-centric development policies, as well as the liberalisation of key sectors.

Known for its inscrutable leadership and byzantine regulations however, Ethiopia has long posed challenges for outside investors. In October deadly anti-government protests led to the declaration of a state of emergency, further exacerbating investor uncertainty.

With great potential yet to be unlocked, Ethiopia remains a little understood jurisdiction. This session will examine its current crisis, medium-term growth prospects, as well as opportunities for investors.

We do hope you’ll be able to join the briefing in person, or alternatively, we will be live streaming the event via webinar.
